Say hello to Kiki, our new Kicking Lotus mascot.
Kiki is a small lotus with a surprisingly full schedule: stretching, resting, recharging, and showing up with a smile. In other words, Kiki might be the most honest wellness icon we could have asked for.
The twist is simple: Kiki is not here to tell anyone to become a perfect calm person. Kiki is here to make care feel a little more human.
Why a mascot?
Massage therapy is serious work. It helps people move better, recover, slow down, manage stress, and reconnect with their bodies. But the experience around it does not need to feel clinical, cold, or intimidating.
Kiki gives Kicking Lotus a softer way to talk about the small things that matter:
- taking a real break before the body has to shout
- making recovery feel normal, not dramatic
- bringing a bit of lightness into busy days
- reminding people that wellness can be structured and still warm
That is the personality we want Kiki to carry. Professional, yes. Gentle, yes. A little playful, absolutely.
Four moods, one little lotus
For now, Kiki arrives as a four-pose sheet.
There is the stretching Kiki, because bodies were not designed to sit frozen in one position all day. There is the sleeping Kiki, because rest is not a luxury item. There is the battery Kiki, because some days the most advanced wellness technology is admitting you are at 12%. And there is the jump-rope Kiki, because movement counts even when it is simple, silly, and short.
We will likely split these into separate images later so each pose can live on its own. For the launch, we like seeing them together. It feels like a tiny menu of ways to take care of yourself.
What Kiki stands for
Kiki is not a replacement for our therapists, our standards, or the real care behind every appointment. Kiki is a signal.
Kiki says that Kicking Lotus is allowed to be competent without being stiff. That massage therapy can be accessible without being watered down. That a company can build serious systems - online booking, professional receipts, corporate massage, client follow-up - and still keep a heart.
That balance matters to us.
Where Kiki may show up next
You might see Kiki in small moments around the site, in appointment reminders, on team materials, or on future merch. The first version comes from a t-shirt design, which feels exactly right: a mascot that starts as something wearable, familiar, and easy to love.
More Kiki images are coming. For now, consider this the official introduction.
Welcome to the team, Kiki.
